Product/Ordering Questions
What is proofing?
Proofing is the process of creating a one-off piece that will represent the entire batch you ordered. This piece is used to verify the overall quality of the piece before it is sent to final production. We use this process to check for grains, smudges within the file, blurriness, and overall color quality.
Can you print pieces that are different from the standard formats that you offer?
Yes. Please use our form on the contact page to request a quote on any printed material that doesn’t fit our standard formats. We offer a number of formats and printing methods to fit a multitude of printing needs.
How do I order multiple pieces of print?
We specialize as a streamlined service for all of your printing needs. Simply reach out to us and let us know the details of each project you need. Just let us know about each item you need, how many copies, and the type of material you need. If you are looking for advice, our printing experts can help you at any step in the process!
What kind of paper will my job be printed on?
We have several types of paper available for use depending on what product type you are ordering. The individual pricing pages show available standard options, and many other custom options are available. Contact us for more information on which paper type could be the best choice for your next project.
How well will my project match what I see on my monitor?
Most people are surprised at how well the finished project matches what the initial proof looked like; however, this depends on the method used, type of colors, and other factors. Due to some minor differences in monitor calibration and the different technologies used (digital, offset, etc.), some printed colors may not exactly match the colors on your screen. Speak to one of our experts for more info on how to minimize this discrepancy.
Will you match a sample I print out on my own printer or a previously printed sample?
One of the main reasons we are able to offer such a quick turnaround time without sacrificing quality is our professional process and industry-standard ink densities. While we always strive to give clients a high-quality and professional product, it does not always turn out exactly like the sample you initially provided. We work with you step-by-step in order to get it as close as possible while informing you of each decision along the way. This way, we are able to produce a product you can be excited about and, often, one that turns out even better than you anticipated originally. Overall, our experts understand how to take a sample from clients and help them create a professional product from it.
If you require a precise color match, please contact us to arrange for a digital color proof.
Once you approve, we will produce and send you a hard proof for verification. When you approve and return the proof, we strive to match the color of the proof when printing your final piece.
